Cooper InVision™ Downtime Reduction System Proves Return on Investment Promise
The Cooper InVision™ Downtime Reduction System return-on investment promise is so strong, customers are now offered a 90-day trial period to prove the System’s ability to minimize each downtime occurrence for substantial savings. The Cooper InVision ROI Before You Buy program provides customers a site assessment and support services, plus System components to allow testing of a specific customer-selected process before expanding the System to other critical circuits.
The Cooper InVision wireless, circuit-monitoring – and easy to retrofit – System cuts the time by nearly half between an open-circuit event and notification of maintenance personnel.
The System provides via phone, fax or e-mail:
- the exact location of the open circuit
- the replacement part number
- the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) to wear for the
- electrical hazard level.
The program will provide System components to allow testing of a specific customer process, including:
- one Gateway
- up to eight Routers
- up to 50 Intelligent Fuse Monitors (IFMs)

For an estimate of the downtime savings utilizing the new Cooper InVision System, Cooper Bussmann provides an online calculator at ww.cooperbussmann.com/invision. Simply enter the requested information of facility downtime cost and estimated time allowed for each step taken between an open-circuit event and power restoration. Minimizing each downtime occurrence – even by a few minutes – can add up to substantial savings.

Project Scope
Cooper Bussmann will provide all necessary labor, materials and equipment to install a Cooper InVision demonstration system of up to 50 Intelligent Fuse Monitors (IFM) for the ROI Before You Buy program. The demonstration system will be fully functional to monitor a limited number of critical fuses
Installation:
- Labor – Cooper Bussmann will provide a quoted number of man-days for site assessment and to install the IFM sensors, routers and Gateway, and all miscellaneous items to monitor circuit status.
- Materials – Cooper Bussmann will provide all materials, equipment and miscellaneous items for a complete and operating system.
- Cooper InVision Support Services – Cooper Bussmann will provide one (1) year of Cooper InVision Support Services, including all system software and IT support.
Customer Support:
You will need to provide reasonable support requested by Cooper Bussmann Services personnel to permit safe and effective performance of the Cooper InVision System installation, including the following:
- Sign the delivery portion of the Delivery & Acceptance Certificate authorizing installation of the trial system.
- Designate an individual authorized as the single point of contact to schedule installation activities.
- Provide a 120V service outlet for each Router to be installed.
- Provide an Ethernet connection for the Gateway device.
- Provide a qualified electrician or electrical supervisor familiar with the power distribution system to direct and assist in identifying the proper electrical equipment, including a copy of the applicable electrical one-line drawings.
At the end of the 90-day trial, contact your authorized Cooper Bussmann distributor to sign the acceptance portion of Delivery & Acceptance Certificate authorizing continuation of the Cooper InVision System operation, or, if not satisfied, request from your distributor a Return
Material Authorization to return the System components. A $2500 removal and handling charge will apply.
